Sohowest Resident hosts fundraiser for Kidney Disease
We were proud to learn that a resident of our young neighbourhood is already giving back to the community. Chantal Vandereems, one of Monarch's first homebuyers, recently held a fundraiser to benefit the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Vandereems was herself recently diagnosed with the disease and while her symptoms have stabilized, many Canadians aren't as lucky and are among the majority of the 4,000 people waiting for an organ transplant.
